We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the engineering team behind one of the world's most popular mobile applications, serving millions of users worldwide.
The team focuses on building scalable backend solutions, improving cloud infrastructure efficiency, and developing intelligent automation to support reliable and efficient platform operations.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.
Build and improve cloud-based solutions within the AWS ecosystem.
Design reliable distributed systems with a focus on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
Develop automation solutions to improve infrastructure efficiency and operational processes.
Improve system observability, monitoring, and reliability.
Participate in system architecture discussions and evaluate technical trade-offs.
Leverage AI tools to improve engineering and operational workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and contribute to technical decisions.
5+ years of experience in backend development with Java or Node.js.
Solid hands-on experience with AWS and cloud infrastructure.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD.
Strong system design skills, including scalability, observability, and architectural trade-offs.
Experience building and maintaining distributed backend services.
AI-native mindset and hands-on experience with AI development tools.
Upper-Intermediate English or higher.
Experience with cloud infrastructure automation and optimization.
Familiarity with AI agents, LLM-based tools, or AI-driven workflows.
Experience working with large-scale, high-load systems.
