Our client is a global jewelry manufacturer and reaches millions of people across more than 100 countries, and every one of those touchpoints depends on data flowing cleanly from source systems into a governed, trusted foundation.

This role is not about building processing pipelines or designing domain data models — that work belongs to the D&A engineers who build on top of what you provide. Your job is to build the Python-based services and automation that provision, govern, and harden the company's data storage infrastructure as it rolls out a new data strategy.

This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for an engineer who takes pride in building infrastructure that other engineers can trust and build on without thinking twice.

  • Design, build, and maintain the platform's REST APIs and automations that provision and govern analytics tools on Azure

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployment tooling for platform and infrastructure components

  • Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting across distributed cloud systems to ensure platform reliability

  • Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the technical direction of the data platform

  • Mentor peers and provide technical leadership within the team

  • Partner with D&A engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the platform meets the needs of teams building on top of it

  • Champion engineering best practices: clean code, testability, modularity, and disciplined version control

  • 5+ years of experience as a software engineer on enterprise-scale projects

  • Background in building and operating modular monolith platforms

  • Well-versed in Azure cloud services

  • Proficient in Python and Bash, with strong software engineering fundamentals: clean code, testability, modularity, and disciplined version control

  • Experience with Terraform applied at platform scale

  • Well-versed in Azure cloud services

  • A track record of building and operating CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform tooling

  • Skilled at implementing monitoring, observability, and alerting for distributed or cloud systems

  • Strong communicator, able to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Fluent English, written and spoken

  • Experience with Databricks, Power BI, OpenMetadata, Apache Kafka or Kubernetes
