Seeking a hands-on Software Engineer with strong DevOps and SRE experience to design, build, deploy, and operate scalable cloud-native services. This role requires end-to-end ownership of software delivery, infrastructure automation, reliability, observability, and operational excellence in AWS and Kubernetes environments.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable microservices and distributed systems.

• Build and operate cloud-native applications across development, test, and production environments.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and deployment automation.

• Develop automated tests and apply quality-focused engineering practices, including TDD.

• Design REST APIs and event-driven solutions using Kafka.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance, availability, and scalability.

• Drive observability through logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, and incident management.

• Lead root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions to improve reliability.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into simple, maintainable technical solutions.

• Champion engineering, DevOps, security, and operational best practices.

• Contribute to architecture, design reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.

• Strong Java (Java 17) and Spring Boot expertise.

• Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Strong Kafka and event-driven architecture experience.

• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, DynamoDB, etc.).

• Production experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with PostgreSQL, AuroraDB, Redis, DynamoDB, or similar databases.

• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.

• Performance testing and tuning experience using JMeter or similar tools.

• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and production support skills.

• Experience with Git and Agile development practices.

• Familiarity with DevSecOps, cloud security, and operational excellence principles.
