Zoolatech Becomes an AWS Select Tier Services Partner

We are proud and excited to announce that Zoolatech is now an AWS Select Tier Services Partner, officially listed in the AWS Partner Solutions Finder under the Services Path!

This milestone is a big win for our team. We have spent years migrating legacy platforms to AWS and running cloud-native workloads for enterprise clients, and AWS has now reviewed and confirmed that experience.

AWS grants the Select Tier to partners with certified specialists and documented customer experience, so the badge turns our claims about cloud expertise into a verified fact.

In this short article, we explain what the AWS Select Tier is, why we pursued it, what it gives our clients in practice, and where we plan to take the partnership next. By the end, you will know exactly what this status means for your cloud project.

What the AWS Select Tier Means

The AWS Partner Network (APN) is the global program through which AWS works with companies that build on or deliver services around its cloud. Partners join one of several Partner Paths depending on what they do. Zoolatech is on the Services Path, built for organizations that deliver consulting, professional, and managed services.

Within the Services Path, AWS recognizes three partner tiers, each with its own bar for certified staff and proven customer work.

TierWhat AWS Confirms
SelectTrained and certified specialists, documented customer experience
AdvancedLarger certified technical team, proven customer results
PremierMarket leadership, multiple program validations, large-scale customer success

Select is the first validated tier. Reaching it means AWS has checked our certifications and customer engagements against its own criteria, and a client can confirm that independently in the Partner Solutions Finder without taking our word for it.

Why We Went for It

Cloud work has been part of our engineering practice for most of the company’s history. A large share of our cloud engineering services run on AWS, and many of our legacy modernization engagements end with a workload moving there.

One example is our work with Complete Solar, where we migrated a legacy solution to AWS and kept continuous Agile delivery running for the business throughout.

Another is a cloud cost optimization project for a retail client, where the goal was to make an existing cloud footprint cheaper without slowing the teams that depend on it.

With 600+ engineers and 300+ delivered projects, we wanted our AWS expertise to be visible and verifiable for clients choosing a partner and for AWS teams we may work alongside on joint projects. The Select Tier was the logical first step.

What This Means for Our Clients

Most of what the Select Tier unlocks sits behind the scenes, in tools and channels our engineers now use on your behalf. Here is what that translates to when you work with us on an AWS project.

What You GetWhat It Means for Your Project
Verified AWS expertiseCertifications and customer work checked by AWS, visible in Partner Solutions Finder
Architectures grounded in AWS guidanceAccess to AWS reference architectures, Quick Starts, and Well-Architected Tools
Joint engagement with AWSOpportunity tracking through the APN Customer Engagements program
Faster onboarding of AWS specialistsPartner training and accreditations for our engineers
A partner with a defined growth pathProgression toward Advanced tier and AWS Competency designations

The biggest change is that AWS itself can now be part of your project. Before the status, we could build on AWS for you, but AWS stayed outside the engagement. As a Select Tier partner, we can register your project through the APN Customer Engagements program, bring AWS account and solution teams into the conversation, and coordinate their support with our delivery. For a large migration or a multi-year modernization, that means one plan and one set of people behind it, instead of two teams working in parallel.

What Comes Next

The Select Tier is the starting point of the partnership. AWS reviews partner status against certifications and customer engagements on an ongoing basis, so we need to keep investing in both to maintain and grow it.

In the near term, we are focusing on our engineers. More of them will complete AWS training and certification, prioritizing migration and modernization of legacy platforms, data engineering and analytics, and AI solutions built on AWS services.

The next tier, Advanced, requires a larger certified team and more validated customer results. The AWS Competency program, which recognizes specialization in specific workloads or industries, also opens at that level. Both are on our roadmap, and we will move toward them at the pace our project work justifies!

Final Word

This status is a step in a longer journey we take together with our clients. Every project we deliver teaches us something about how large systems should be built and run, and every lesson raises the bar for the next engagement, which is how our expertise has grown since 2017 and how it will keep growing.

We are always looking for new ways to develop, and becoming an AWS Select Tier Services Partner is one of them. Our goal has always been to stay ahead of where the industry is going, set the standard for how enterprise software is engineered, and bring our clients along as the technology evolves.

Our partnership with AWS gives us more tools, deeper access, and a new level of accountability for the quality of our cloud work, and we intend to use it all. If you are planning your next step on AWS, we would be glad to walk that path with you.
