We are hiring on behalf of our client, a global leader in the meal kit delivery industry that helps millions of customers cook healthy, homemade meals without the stress of meal planning or grocery shopping.

As part of Zoolatech’s distributed engineering team, you will work on building and scaling Shopify-powered eCommerce experiences for HelloFresh’s growing portfolio of brands. The team is responsible for maintaining existing online stores, integrating third-party Shopify applications, and launching new eCommerce businesses on the Shopify platform.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of Shopify storefronts, customize themes, implement integrations, and help migrate features from internal React applications to Shopify. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams in a fast-paced environment where ownership, adaptability, and a strong engineering mindset are highly valued.

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify storefronts.

• Build and enhance Shopify themes to support business and customer needs.

• Integrate third-party Shopify applications and services.

• Develop custom Shopify apps and integrations when needed.

• Migrate and adapt features from internal React/TypeScript applications to Shopify.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver new eCommerce capabilities.

• Support the launch of new Shopify stores for emerging brands.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and improve the performance and reliability of Shopify-based solutions.

Must Have

• Strong commercial experience with Shopify development.

• Experience building and maintaining Shopify storefronts using Liquid and Shopify Themes.

• Experience working with the Shopify Admin, Apps, and plugin ecosystem.

• Experience integrating third-party Shopify applications and services.

• Solid understanding of the Shopify platform and its ecosystem.

• Good JavaScript knowledge.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and TypeScript.

• Experience with Headless Shopify and Shopify Storefront APIs.

• Experience developing custom Shopify Apps.

• Experience with eCommerce integrations and modern frontend development.
