    Nordstrom is a fashion specialty retailer founded on a simple idea: serve the customer. We are looking for an experienced software engineer, with the expertise of writing server-side code in Java in the Cloud, to join the Fraud team and engineer amazing technology that serves the end-user.

  • Responsibilities

    Fraud Technology at Nordstrom is rebuilding fraud ecosystem to provide business a way to detect and react to fraud. As a member of the Fraud Technology team, you will help design and engineer Fraud detection data pipes and services.

    Once you catch up with product you might be involved in production support.

  • We Require

    · Java Developers with 3+ years of commercial experience;

    · Solid Spring Boot experience;

    · Hands-on experience with Docker Containers;

    · Comfort operating in AWS with minimal guidance (SQS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.);

    · Experience with apps monitoring (DataDog, Splunk, NewRelic, etc.);

    · Good written and spoken English;

    · E-commerce understanding is a strong plus;

    · Experience with relational/NoSQL DB is a plus;

    · Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
