C2P2 (Customer Communication & Preferences Platforms) team, supports and own the delivery of key projects on these platforms. We are a devops team where you will be working with a global team in an agile environment to develop new features and provide on-call support to critical services. To be successful in this fast paced environment you will need a balance of technical and analysis skills. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the Nordstrom Customer shopping experience around post purchase communication (email, text and push notifications)

• Produce well designed and testable code using industry best practices

• Work on feature development including, implementing, testing and supporting

• Ensuring quality and availability of software systems by applying best practices for monitoring and alerting best practices

• Cross collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of team objectives and offerings

• 1+ years of development experience in backend technologies and hands-on with Java, SpringBoot

• 1+ year experience building and deploying software systems in cloud-based technologies (i.e. AWS, Lambdas, S3s, DynamoDB)

• 1+ years of experience in micro-services architecture, event drive architecture,

• Kafka Familiarity is a plus

• Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies and tooling (i.e.Git, Terraform, Gradle, Kubernetes)
