C2P2 (Customer Communication & Preferences Platforms) team, supports and own the delivery of key projects on these platforms. We are a devops team where you will be working with a global team in an agile environment to develop new features and provide on-call support to critical services. To be successful in this fast paced environment you will need a balance of technical and analysis skills. You will have the opportunity to directly impact the Nordstrom Customer shopping experience around post purchase communication (email, text and push notifications)
Produce well designed and testable code using industry best practices
Work on feature development including, implementing, testing and supporting
Ensuring quality and availability of software systems by applying best practices for monitoring and alerting best practices
Cross collaborating with other teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment of team objectives and offerings
1+ years of development experience in backend technologies and hands-on with Java, SpringBoot
1+ year experience building and deploying software systems in cloud-based technologies (i.e. AWS, Lambdas, S3s, DynamoDB)
1+ years of experience in micro-services architecture, event drive architecture,
Kafka Familiarity is a plus
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery methodologies and tooling (i.e.Git, Terraform, Gradle, Kubernetes)
