Guidewheel is building a real-time FactoryOps platform that empowers manufacturers to increase productivity and reduce emissions by connecting to machines through power-based sensors. The platform handles terabytes of time-series data and supports large-scale, cloud-native infrastructure.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you’ll help scale and secure the cloud infrastructure powering Guidewheel’s platform. You’ll work on automating deployments, improving system reliability, and enabling fast, safe delivery across teams — all while building the foundation for a product used by major manufacturers around the world.
Design, build, and manage scalable, secure cloud infrastructure with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Use Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) to automate and maintain infrastructure components.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable smooth, rapid, and reliable deployments.
Implement and manage Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm for container orchestration at scale.
Improve system visibility and performance using Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or GCP-native monitoring tools.
Automate routine operations and infrastructure tasks using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Go.
Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant, implementing best practices for secrets management, policy as code, and cloud security.
Champion GitOps and progressive delivery strategies such as blue-green deployments, canary releases, and feature flag rollouts.
Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices across the full lifecycle.
